A new series by InProTED

We are announcing a new InProTED series, called Career Matters for Women will introduce extraordinary women from the Romanian-American community who will inspire you with their outstanding performances and successes, while also sharing the challenges they faced in making their voice heard, balancing the career and life and breaking the glass ceiling in their areas.

We invite you to meet them and learn from their experiences.
This series of live webinars will bring in front of you women from multiple professional domains and different seniority levels. You will have the chance to learn about the challenges they faced in their careers and personal lives. They will share the joy of success as well as the unseen barriers, the frustrations and their personal trade-offs. How did they decide which path to pursue? How did they raise after failure and continued to march on? How did they manage to split their time and energy between work, family and other obligations? How did they continue to learn and grow even when they didn’t have any spare time? Why are mentors, sponsors, teams and broad networks so important?
Despite the gender equality strides made, women still fight biases in their career growth. How did our guest speakers manage to overcome these? When did they decide to look for a new job? How did they overcome the personal fears and insecurities? What is the impostor syndrome ?
